Okay, so I'm spoiled rotten! I wish every mother could go to a tropical island for a week to unwind with her best friend! We got hooked up with a free hotel, cashed in on some frequent flyer miles and within 2 days I was on a plane to parpadise! I got to read 2 books-The Poisonwood Bible which I loved and 1000 Splendid Suns which is such a powerful story. We had a regimented schedule of lay by the pool, read, get a massage, exercise and eat...oh and do a little shopping for souvenirs. It was rough.
Does it get any better than that? Seriously.

I love and am jealous that you got this great vacation. The reason that I am commenting is that you read two of my favorite books. I love both of those. I just finished another book by Babara Kingsolvor, Prodical Summer. It isn't as good as the Poisonwood Bible, but it is still really great.
I am really wanting you and Troy to come up for dinner. I actually just need to have a party. Have everyone up for a party. Troy, Terri, Jessica, Andrew the whole clan. I am going to plan it soon, I promise.
